Dear Readers,

We are participating in the Wiesbaden Weeks of Biological Diversity and will be screening a visually stunning documentary, as well as an episode of the popular “Checker Tobi” series for children at the Traumkino.

The “Werkstatt der Jungen Filmszene” is Germany’s oldest film festival for emerging filmmakers. Every year, Pentecost Saturday is reserved for filmmakers who present their short films at the Caligari.

In our silent film series with live music, "Hamlet" will be shown in May, starring Asta Nielsen in the lead role, with live piano accompaniment by Uwe Oberg.

The documentary "Mein neues altes Ich" (My New Old Self) explores menopause, offering many new insights and featuring a guest expert.
